I would give this novel 5 stars if it had a different female lead.Fran is one of the most plain characters I have ever read about. Her way of thinking is pretty repetitive: "Fight", "Eat" and "Beg". Everyone around her seems to think she is a genious of a child, when in truth, it's all about the sword, it didn't matter who picked it up, the end result would have been the same.Author should have worked more on developing the lead more.If you don't mind that, it's a very good read and the MC is very well developed. You could varely think that it's a JP novel since the MC is not a pushover, he thinks before acting but not enough to get a boring feeling out of it and above all, he doesn't have the "Do not kill" values that make all other MC's boring and s*upid.
