Definitely a bit of a slow burn even though they agree to get married and have feelings quickly. Thought the relationship vibes were good but now it’s a bit icky for me. She is so willing to serve... and always downplaying her efforts saying stuff like “oh cleaning, cooking, sewing, and raising the children is literally nothing significant compared to working in the fields!” Like um no. Yes, some people love to do those things but it still is difficult and takes patience and effort. If you are fine with traditional “wifely” values then you will probably like this.
