Everyone in this novel is dumb as bricks and the world makes no sense. They try to do the whole thing where they setup cartoonish villains to get theirs by underestimating the MC. But the problem is, the MC is, in the plot, the highest ranking member in the adventure guild, so famous that everyone important freaks out when they think he might be offended. But despite being so famous, nobody knows him. It'd be like nobody recognizing their country's president because he goes by a fake name sometimes.

And the villains are all flat dumb boring stereotypes who all act like they're big shots just so the plot can have them get a comeuppance. Even though the MC does nothing, everyone who dares even be rude to him gets dedicated chapters to how crossing him ruins their lives. Clerk at a shop is rude to him, cool, now we get a chapter about how that clerk gets fired and can't find work, ends up drunk and homeless, and then gets used as a human experiment. Girl was a bully to one of the other characters in his entourage, she ends up dying a junkie prostitute. There's no subtlety to anything. Friends of the MC get every blessing imagine-able, anyone else gets their life ruined. But again, he doesn't ever do anything. It's like being rude to this dude causes the universe to intervene and ruin them for him. MC is dull as a bag of rocks. He's rich, he's super OP, and 40+ chapters in, he has done absolutely nothing of interest yet. He has performed one action, and it wasn't even a fun curb-stomp moment. We just keep hearing about how great he is from people in other places, while everyone who directly interacts with him treats him like garbage.
