Real Rating: 4.1/5
This is an okay read for people familiar with and following this genre of transmigration stories. Not too much drama and it's not insanely infuriating with c*ckroach-like relatives or villains that make your brain rot that many of these types of novels usually have. Most characters are very realistic, especially given the setting, and overall is quite a satisfactory read. However, I wouldn't say it hits that sweet spot of eventfulness while not being too crazy, so it can get a bit boring and uneventful because of how smooth it is.
The romance is just okay, not heart-fluttering or dramatic but more realistic and smooth. Both FL and ML are good people and smart. I'm satisfied with the FL's attentiveness too, wherein she is smart enough in anticipating the worst of people while at the same time, keeping the heart of a doctor of clear judgment. She was smart enough to assume that with the character of her relatives, they might attack her siblings and so she made sure to keep watch on them and prepare in advance. Usually, a pet peeve of mine with novels like this is how smart the authors make out the FL to be, but never smart enough to assume that the insanely unreasonable and evil people around her will not attack her, which in turn makes the people involved with her get hurt constantly.
The only downfall is that I felt like the author themselves got bored of it and ended it quite abruptly, therefore throwing out the potential it could be. It feels like they stopped it before the real events of the novel should have started. Spoiler
It literally ends with them starting a new chapter by moving to the army, and having their first night together (hehe). I also liked how she revealed the system to him, but that's just it, it doesn't really prove helpful in their journey. This would have been an okay ending, however, there was no real resolution to any of the characters, even in implications. The OG FL only gets hints of a better life, but with her character doesn't really feel like she'll get to that point. Her sisters just started school and so we don't know if they'll become soldiers or anything else in the future. The mom was left to be alone in the village with her bloodsucking brother and biased mother, and we don't know if she'll ever change her ways. (Which is sad because although I felt frustrated with her, I also know she has technically been brainwashed and ab*sed to behave so, and although with the character of our FL she will not be left for dead, she will also not have a good life either).

Either way, this was a quick and okay read, just in the lower middle tier amongst the other stories with similar tropes.
