As the novel starts with a jump from zombie apocalypse to ancient famine times, I wasn’t excited. The FL is hurt, jailed and can’t figure out how to take out any of the food in her magic space without anyone knowing. She’s just taken her father into her confidence but it still doesn’t seem like this will be easy.
