The plot itself isn't anything unique, and ML is the stock standard possessive childhood friend love interest, but I really love the MC. He's a cool bear uncle in the body of an androgynous ikemen, who's also unfortunately so eager for a girlfriend and such a chill, patient dude that he's completely dense to both the ML and the other love interests (?). The image of a long haired trap bottom taking care of an axe while being cuddled by the hero ikemen top is hilarious to me, but I also feel sorry for MC when people around him don't realize he's actually this cool, dependable guy. MC's family also have their own interesting quirks, both parents are great and I feel sorry for big bro.I don't really care about the main couple, and honestly most of the NPCs are also super annoying. I genuinely despise the villagers, no matter how much they turn around and start praising MC. I don't have 50 years of patience to guide me, so I keep hoping a hoard of demons comes and eats them all up. If it wasn't for MC, I would've already dropped this once Daniel showed up, but I want to keep reading for the sake of MC and his family.
