Unlike many other stories about "melting" a tsundere beauty who is cold to everyone, this is a story in which the heroine has locked onto the MC before the first chapter. However, she lacks self-awareness of her behaviour and only gradually uncovers the identity of her emotions, providing for an entertaining plot.The MC is the typical dense "loner" with a poor opinion of himself but decent personality that actually makes him more popular than he thinks, but an MC who actively rejects a main heroine is still somewhat fresh. The heroine being the one with delusions is an unusual twist (outside of yandere characters etc.).The story utilises a bunch of tropes, but the execution is decent, the characters are likable, and the dialogues are entertaining. It checks all the important marks for what you might look in a light novel that doesn't take itself overly seriously.
