Really like this novel so far. Its a cute smut-included read!Not gonna lie, I initially started reading it for the promise of smut; which it delivers! Frequently, and at a pretty good quality!But the story is what really has me hooked. The translators are doing a splendid job of providing excellent translations!To me, the story starts off with a bang (LOL) and then becomes kind of a slog to get through, but as it progresses, and little hints about the world are revealed, the mystery of it all really pulled me in.It starts out as a pretty generic Medieval Fantasy Setting, but soon we get more history, and some things are not adding up.The characters start off quite simple and stay that way for most of the start, but do begin to bloom outside of their archetypal roles a little as the story goes on. Even the Generic Evil Bad Guys get some depth!The MC is hella strong, but since he's such a Moe-sort-of-guy, he rarely is detailed being super Over Powered.The details are left for the Smut. And as expected of an Eroge Protag, the ML is.... alot.Anyway, don't take it too seriously, it's a light read, it's not trying to delve too deep into heavy topics. Spoiler
Although it does skim the waters of discussions of Discrimination particularly for aspects of oneself one cannot change. It's still half an Eroge Novel though, so although change will happen in this world, don't be too disappointed if one moment they're mentioning families broken apart, and the next chapter we're balls-deep in some tentacle Smut. very literally
