The story was okay for a smut novel and the two main characters carried the plot most of the time. Side characters were kind of meh and it felt like the author forgot to include their character development throughout the novel, only to dump it all into the last dozen chapters. Not only that, those last chapters felt like they were only filled talking and lore dumps for the sake of world building. So much so, you could probably skip half of them and not affect the story.

The smut ok tho.

NGL if you didn't like the characters then it's pretty hard to continue to read in the later chapters since this bare bones story progression comes to a staggering halt in those chapters. The conclusion isn't anything to right home about either.

Tldr; I can only say the setting is quite unique and the plot was intriguing at first while the MC and ML seemed to do all the work.
