let me just say this, the ML is just so loveable and spoils the FL, its true they got off to a rough start but to be completely honest I like that as its kind of more realistic as it wasnt really a love at first sight kind of thing they met a few times before ML really started to like her and protect her (dont get me wrong it was still kind of fast but not as fast as some DKC*coughs*) theres is a scene in the later chapters when the ML gets super mad at FL because shes protecting some other male and said male makes flirty joke in front of ML which really just ticks him off and he confronts FL she then because of her past ask him if he will hit her and then the ML hugs her instead and says "i said ill protect you even if its from myself" although hes a bit said she thought he would harm her but in her defense it has to do with her past life.

MC is likeable shes very self reliant and has a pretty reasonable personality she can be a bit arrogant but not in a bad way where you want to punch her but more so where she has confidence but not so much that she never bows her head and is just s*upidly stubborn (except when it comes to ML) neither is she petty (like the MC in GEWWDEM) the side characters very amusing the ML subordinates are freaky hilarious my two favorites is the king of gossip and the foodie.

its true though the chapters are short but the translator updates very often and does at least in my point of view 4.0 in terms of translations

overall the story is good the charaters are entertaining and the romance is definitely there and the relationship is pretty healthy unlike most like in DKC where the ML can get a bit much that boarders on abusive you wont find that with the ML here he would rather slit his own throat then lay a harmful hand on her.
