It's an ok novel with the typical female assassin and genius doctor type of MC.Even though it's well written and hasn't gotten tiresome or repetitive yet, what kills this novel for me is the male lead.He represents everything she wants to get away from, at the very beginning she is betrayed by someone just because they can't have her. And the male lead acts pretty much the same way, trying to force her to accept him, forcing her into his embrace and kissing her despite her constant fighting.This guy doesn't respect her or her opinion, he will do whatever it takes to have her. I fail to see how this type of behavior is considered romance.The only reason why I keep reading is for the small hope that this bastard will improve as a character. Because other than the main character, I still haven't found another character to enjoy. PS: the translation drops in quality after 17 takes over. Wrong use of gender, leaving a lot of words in their original Chinese pinyin just because they like the sound of it regardless if they have proper translation or not. Not to mention censoring words they don't like.There doesn't seem to be a good proof reader so a lot of paragraph are filled with wrong tense or genders, and parenthesis with translator notes as if their readers can't follow a story. It made reading the story tiresome.
