I actually enjoyed other cultivation novels by 衣落成火, but I dont really like this one that much for one simple reason: the protagonist's cheat is way too OP. The MC's cheat works as a type of gacha where one get any type of materials needed for cultivation, so this just cut short one of the enjoyable things about this type of novels is where the MCs had to search for the resources needed to level up and how they get it. But this wasnt so bad at first, until the ML got his own cheat and then somehow the MC and ML's cheats merged into one huge bullsh*t cheat that just erased any sense of adventure in this novel.On the other hand, I like the relationship between the two main leads and as the usual fare from 衣落成火 novels, some of the side characters are also quite interesting. But I just cant get past that bullsh*t cheat so unfortunately I had dropped it. 2.5/5 stars.
