^Exactly this. Finally back to the Kenichi quality we all know and love. Incredible action, easily one of the best fights in the series. And no fanservice at all. Just...WOW. First time I'm that much impressed with Matsuena after a long time.

I know this is an old comment and is kind of pointless me responding to it. But I honestly don't get what people's obsession with death is. If Apachai did die, it could be a motivator for Kenichi to get stronger. But then, who would be his next Muay Thai master? I mean, Kenichi was nowhere near Apachai's level to have been a match for Agaard. He struggled just fighting Koukin. And aside from Agaard, Apachai is one of the best fighters within the Muay Thai world. So, what sense would it make if Kenichi becomes History's Strongest Disciple and he has a weak background in the style of Muay Thai? The same goes for if any of his other masters died. All of them are the best teacher within their styles of fighting. It would defeat the whole purpose of having read this series. Sure, someone could make the suggestion that Agaard could teach him in Apachai's place if he wanted. But we don't even know how badly injured he is and if it could affect him fighting in the future. Plus, he practices Satsujinken. So, I don't think for the years that he practiced a style in which he killed people that his method of fighting would change so easily. Nor, would Kenichi want to practice something like that since it goes against his principles.

It's because Agaard taught him the basic moves which Apachai than upgraded to his fitting, and in sparring he taught them to Kenichi, hence new techniques, that Agaard knew of, but were not his own, so he did not teach them to Koukin. I mean they are not kick and punch, but apa-kick and apa-punch! :)

I still think Apachai will live, though he'll be bedridden for a while.



...okay, now I wanna see him take out some guys without leaving his bed. Sounds funny.



Anyway, I really liked the end to this fight. I'm a little apprehensive, but that's likely because this is the first arc to finish since I got caught up, which meant the others flowed differently. Still very good.

Awesome fight, awesome ch overall, im still sad about Apachai, it'd be kinda anti-climatic if he survives but still... i dont want him to die T_T he's my fav master from Ryouzanpaku T_T
