Perhaps I am the only person to say this but reading this light novel made me extremely uncomfortable. As I kept going there was this feeling of wrongness and I didn’t know why.I think it is the premise of the show itself that disgusted me. I felt bad for children. Four year old children don’t even have a strong sense of self, they are pretty much blank canvases that were dyed by their surroundings. And they were stuffed in this show by adults to a bunch of clearly inexperienced adults for once again adult amusement. They got dragged across the internet for being too boring, too unlovable, too spoiled, too childish??Like the expectations and standards for literal kids were so high. Lively but not loud, playful but not disobedient, childish and innocent but somehow mature, any real emotions like crying throwing tantrums were treated as nuisances.Also, I couldn’t find ML asking advice from a slightly grown up toddler wholesome or heartwarming.It had its cute moments, the be ones that made me smile and laugh but somehow I still can’t like this novel.
