Ultimately this story has several aspects to it, none of which it does particularly well.

The xianxia setting: it takes some of the tropes but fails to execute it well. There's also a pointless system to make the MC even more OP. Enemies are brainless even for a xianxia setting.

Daughters switched at birth: what got me interested was the premise of them not fighting but instead cooperating... But the enemies are brainless, the face slapping is mid, and there's no scheming worth mentioning.

Romance and characters: mid, mid, mid. MC basically follows the system and is as flat as your typical xianxia protagonist. FL is an over dependent wallflower. The flirting is nice but the romance feels rushed. If MC was male you'd find the whole thing creepy and call it g*ooming.

If I were to pinpoint the part where I started to lose faith in the story, it's when the father wanted to marry off both daughters but MC's spy was watching so we knew nothing would come of it. It was at that point that I knew nothing would provide even a modicum of threat and the tension in the story became negative.

There are some pretty good scenes here and there - the secret realm arc was pretty cool - but overall the experience is bland.

I like the book, but how long is it going to be? getting close to giving up on an ending...
