I have mixed emotions on this one.

Don't get me wrong. This is a good story. It was implied as transmigration but it was more of a rebirth since she seems like the actual person, with the love and hatred as if it was really her. She just doesn't know the whole plot of the novel but she'll get to learn as she progressed the friendship level of Main characters.

I can't help but to switch from one bias to another.

The power of the plot was tiring at the latter part.

I also felt He Yuan was weird, like he was someone the author was using inside the novel.

Guo An and Ye Lang are like lovers who were not meant to be together. YL always had to choose Lu Wan, they were like, they both love each other but was just destined to fall apart.

Let me give you a back story

It wasnt the cancellation of her engagement with HR than really damaged her it was the unknowing betrayal by the person she regard as the only light.

I also love ZY and Li Du's love affair than ZY and CJ

Original Story

Gu An wasnt in love with He Ran nor he is with her. They were just childhood sweethearts with arranged marriage.

HR fell in love with Lu Wan who is a child hood friend/ neighbor of Ye Lang, the bodyguard of GA.

GA actually fell for YL, YL does not know his own feelings, a little bit slow in recognizing it. Probably due to the plot.

HJ, the uncle was actually in love with GA, which he himself wasnt aware at the start.

GA asked the bodyguard to help with revenge, just a simple one to scare LW. Somehow it went wrong, GA was accused of importing illegal meds which she used to drug LW without knowing what type of drug it was, accused of attempted mu*der which was for 10 yrs. LW and HJ got married but not out of love. HJ visits GA in prison and asked her to marry him after his divorce so that she can go out of the prison.

Each one. With their own reason and motives.

2nd Life

A transmigrated girl into a novel awakens when LW somehow killed her cat which turned into a system then turned her as a vicious supporting character.

She decided to break up with HeRan. Hide from HJ, since he was the one who sent her to prison. Avoid the bodyguard who betrayed her in the past by choosing LW over her.

In this story line, she broke up but He Ran fell in love with GA.

It was revealed that since the previous life HJ likes her and body guard also likes her

But her path was to become the fiance of HJ.

Later YL the bodyguard, awakens with memory of the past and wants to fight for her and take her from HJ.

In the previous life, LW was pregnant with HR while married with HJ. She needs someone to father the child, and HJ condition as part of the deal would be for YL to surrender the cctv that shows GA did not really ask someone to kill LW. But LW had to get it from YL with her blackmailing pity me sh*t drama.

I was just thinking, HJ is so powerful, he can downplay the sentence from 10 yrs to 1 to 2 or have someone take the blame.

YL had the video, but he did not surrender it to lighten her crime.

Now, when GA and HJ were together, I was thinking of YL, he would be a great partner.

But now when he was fighting for GA, I pity HJ since he was really doing everything for GA since the original story.

All in all, a good read. It was just difficult as Ive read this using chrome's translate page aahhaua
