The author should be proud; he or she is one of the very few Japanese authors out there that flies the "Make Isekai Great Again" (MIGA) banner. This novel is has it all; a great storyline, two awesome protagonists, plenty of good supporting characters, multi-faceted antagonists and lastly, a great fantasy world. The aforementioned great fantasy world, of course opens the way to a lot of gratuitous Action scenes. As a self-proclaimed connoisseur of research materials from the Land of the Rising Sun, I can safely say that the author saves his/her best effort for this aspect of the novel. I am not ashamed to say that I practiced my Dao of the Spear quite a bit during many parts of the novel and practically all the SS chapters. Especially when Yuri gets into Action against anyone but Shin. This novel will never be animated (or get a Netflix live action) anytime soon because the Action sequences that is very numerous are integral to the main plot and the world setting, and therefore, cannot be removed. And this novel is nothing without its Action scenes.
