My only gripe with this Mamono and fight in question is that: where did they get the giant colossus-like flexible statue? The empty suits of armor made sense, since you can easily find them in old castles, but the giant moving statue had to already be there for him to attach the flowers and control it, which doesn't make much sense to me.
Even though I found this thing a little dumb, I'm still enjoying this arc quite a bit, despite feeling a little like filler. Even if it isn't fleshening out much of Kiyomaro and Gash's relationship - and Gash's past -, I think they'll get into more detail about it after they're reunited with Taka's dad.
