Okay, so I am wiritng this review because I felt the need to do so.First, the story plot of feng yu jiu tian is really interesting. Specially I really like the warring aspect and the idea of unification of all kingdoms under one ruler which is part of the reason why u read it. Though I did dropped it a while back then I picked it up again because of the side couple, He di and Zi Yan, and they are my favourite in this story. As for the main couple, I am not really a fan of them. Though I don't like them I don't hate them either. The MC, feng Ming is described as an inteligent, smart character but I am sorry to say this that I don't see it in him. He is like a girl, childish and down to earth naive to the point that it's annoying. For me feng Ming was no different that the female leads from romance shoujo manga so he felt like a female character to me. And yes, for those who are going to give it a try, beware because the MC will quite annoy you a lot. For me, he and rong tian were part of the reason why I dropped it before giving it a second try.Meanwhile, rong tian, the ml, on the other hand was as abusive as he could be towards the origina prince, An he. My heart hurts for an he so much. Poor soul, I hope he is happy somehwere too. Although I don't really have any problem with a character being merciless to others while being nice only to their lover, I am not a fan of rong tian. Because he crossed my bottom line with what he did to An he. So yup, the ML is the type that I dislike. On the other hand the antagonist is a formidable one. Ruo Yan is the scariest character in this novel. And I get the reason why feng Ming is so scared of him. But it has to be noted that both rong tian and Ruo Yan are very similar characters. The final boss of this novel is worth his title because he doesn't die and won't die very easily. The plot however is very interesting so the stars are for the plot of the story itself. But I do think that it's dragging on for too long now.And oh god, my heart hurts so much for An he. This poor original prince was r*ped, ab*sed, tortured and impriosned by the hands of the male lead, aka rong tian. An he, he had no one, no one by his side. Neither the maids, the palace servants, or his parents, or rong tian or any other person. He is the most tragic character of this novel who died in the very first chapters. And I hated it that when feng Ming's soul occupied An he's body, feng Ming became the apple of everyone's eyes. Sure he earned it but it was such a big injustice on An he as a cannon character. I am amazed that An he didn't commit su*cide and kept on taking in all the pain and suffering inflicted on his body, soul and mind. His dead was peace for him. And whenever I think about it I feel so sad. This is the reason why the main couple couldn't win a place in my heart. Even feng Ming kept blaming An he all the time saying the original owner of the body was this and that.He Di ans Zi Yan and feng Ming and rong tian, between them, I will choose hedixziyan because they were the ones who brought me back to this novel. Their story is also toxic but the dynamic is something I like more than the main pair.Anyway that's my review of this book. Those who can endure and ignore rong tian's ab*se towards An he, or ignore feng Ming's annoying charas should definitely give it a try otherwise it will be pretty annoying for the readers. The plot is the only amazing aspect of the novel.
