This is very well written. There are some parts where it did drag a little but overall the story itself is very refreshing.

It does follow the generic swords and magic plot of BBEG vs good guys but the focus is on the MC and ML. They have their ups and downs but that's why we have slow burns for. But thankfully it's not that long of a burn.

The MC is actually straight forward on what he wants once he realizes what he wants. Yes, he's naive but that's one of his charming points. Spoiler

The character growth he goes through isn't that big as he went through it before the main plot but his interaction with his regressions actually shows he matured.

The ML on the other hand shows himself as a complete brute. The ML is actually where we see the most character growth as he interacts with the MC more and more. Spoiler

And I find it hilarious that he's more of the blushing maiden once he realizes his own feelings for the MC.

Spoiler

The thing I like the most of this story is that this time around, the religion of this world actually does its job and is the good guy. I'm not religious, I just like the fact that it's different with the simple, 'the church is good!' and that they were proactive in helping the MC and ML.

Overall highly recommend.
