This is really damn good!!The pacing is mostly great. I never felt like anything dragged on too long, though some things I felt could have been dragged a little longer for the drama and tension. However I much prefer pacing that is a bit fast sometimes to pacing that bores me to death with how slow it is.All of the conflict feels meaningful and reasonable. Nothing so far feels s*upidity contrived to make plot happen. What the characters do to cause the conflict feels grounded and believable. I may think some of the things some characters did was s*upid or a bad idea, but it was always a result of the characters being true to themselves and their circumstances. Sometimes characters did things that felt a little bit too convenient for the plot, but for me it was passable. The character writing is very consistent and on point. I never felt like someone became a completely different person. They read a little bit flat to me, but it didn't detract too much from my enjoyment of the story so far.The romance is sweet and I quite enjoyed it. It uses some tropes, but they're the tropes I like.Spoiler
Basically he becomes interested in het because she doesn't react to him or treat him like most people do. She's indifferent of him. Then that interest turns into curiousity, and then he falls in love.
[collapse]And yeah I really like them ^^ She doesn't try to fix him, he doesn't try to fix her. There's a point where he's a bit pushy, but for me it was short and mild enough that I was able to look past it.Will update this review when I finish the book ~
