The cover is pretty and I thought it was gonna be cute but it's soooo blaaaaaand.... I wouldn't have left a rating as early as c19 but their relationship's already gone official yet I've reached the point of feeling like I'm desperately picking up cookie crumbs because there's just not enough.Just to be clear I'm not complaining that MC is cynical, but that the author failed to make a more interesting narrative. And there were quite a bit of nonsense sentences like "I lowered my eyes because he sat down beside me" which means she really just followed his movements with her eyes as they were talking because he was standing while she sat. I said nonsense sentences cause it didn't really have to be that descriptive, it just seemed desperate to reach for a word count. Ok maybe that one's a bit petty but it's weird having to read unnecessarily descriptive sentences over and over, ok? Plus the translation seems to progressively worsen —another damper.And I know I complained about the narrative being bland as told in MC's POV but why the h*ck am I suddenly reading about a Martha?! Right after the most anticipated confession! Who even is she, there was no inkling about her, why suddenly her?!
