So the MC returns from a world of magic to one he thinks without, yet when he goes into his backstory of the childhood friend and how everyone changes around him he doesn't think anything is weird. Even after realizing that powers exist in his world; he still doesn't care that his step sister explains that she suddenly doesn't care for the friend anymore like all those feeling for the friend just vanished like she never cared for him in the first place. Now he is valid in not wanting to forgive her because of her past actions, but not realizing that she was charmed is dumb especially later when he talks about dealing with charms before. The same kinda situation happens later when he finds out the friend had charm powers that basically made people more interested in him (they had to have some interest in him already, any interest not just the love kind) ; and (from the MCs own words) stacked the feelings for him with each physical contact with him. Yet the MC still thinks that the sister loves him and the charm powers just let her put her feelings out; this is after it explains that she went crazy when they talked about keeping her away from the friend because of her being bad.
[collapse]The spoiler goes into more detail but basically the MC has negative character traits that make the story annoying. Also the synopsis has somethings out of order. The sister and neighbor caring for him isn't mentioned till later. He found out about the magic in the world before even knowing about that family. Didn't think I write this much but MC just annoys me this much.
