The Main Heroines are Trying to Kill Me Chapter 79 Discussion

This was one of the best novels I read on this site. The plot, story writing, and emotions had me hooked. There were even times I cried... Cried in a freaking harem novel!!! That's how good the characters were written! However, the key words were was and were.

The first few arcs of the novel were phenomenal, by far one of the most interesting reads I had on the site. However, after somewhere in the c30s, the Novel's quality suffered a huge pitfall. Soon all the plots and events were very forced and illogical. Often coming with many plotholes or way too strong of plot armors.

From this point in the novel, every character has had character development... that is except for the MC. And if anything, he's gone through a Regression of development, as every point now he spends paragraphs debating and crying. Hence the novel has gotten very repetitive. It's many times worse with the very hard forced plotline events happening from there too. And the novel is suffering from a lack of male characters, every valuable new character being introduced is yet another harem target... as there are sub heroines.

Throughout all of this reading too you'll notice that the MC could've just used his future knowledge to do many things. He could've also decided to stop being the Villain as Spoiler

he finds out that there are many holes from what the prophecy said it would, and learns of other secrets.

[collapse] However, he forces himself to keep endlessly suffering. It's gotten to the point were from every chapter is purely built to emphasize the MC's sufferage, heroines concerns, and tragedy. No main plot. No development. As the story started to get extended like the story was originally planned for a much shorter chap count but they decided to extend it to milk the money. You can tell by how the MC already reached his breaking point which I'd argue was the climax (somewhere in 30s), and hence forth, 35 chaps later, there has been zero actual progression.

One might argue that "Oh but if they know he's not s false Villain then he'd die!", but it was stated that he could walk away from it anytime he wanted to. The system is also only going off false evil, so if he's a hero from the start he'd still have the system though in unupgraded form. All the system "buffs" to help him with this 2nd playthrough have also really not helped him at all so far, other than saving himself from the 5 heroines who've Regressed with him. So the system is really just a redundant mechanic that only has been nerfing the MC. He's so strong that he could even easily beat the 2nd in command of the demon army which he had done, but due to the system his has many nerfs on him, and this caused him to be weaker due to the life force amount for example.

Another reviewiee claimed that every person who've 5starred this and loved the novel must be a masochist, and I agree. There is no way you'd think this novel is acritically acclaimed when the whole story is to focus on how pitiful and sad the MC, with countless filler prolonging with zero actual developmemts after the first few main arcs.

To make it even worse, to enhance the filler and have more content to write filler content on to not progress the plot, many confusing things were also introduced from after the MC reached his breaking point.

Great story line but there could have been more steamy parts to spice it up
