Absolutely loved this tender and gentle slice of life and I adore its mature characters who slowly grow on you and who communicate so beautifully and in such a healthy way. It's incredibly similar to the novel The lingering sound of blooming flowers (or at least the beginning) but for some reason, though also beautiful, I found that one kind of boring while I totally enjoyed this one here.

This book is hilarious!! I love it. Love the writing style and realness. It’s as if she’s talking to one of her homegirls and the reactions are so relatable. Thank you for writing this book and showing beautiful Black women in this space of werewolves where we are often an afterthought in this genre
