One Hundred Ways to Become a God Chapter 154 Discussion

terrible, terrible everything.

quick transmigration stories are only interesting when they have good protagonists. This story? Its protagonist is bland. So bland, so boring it literally becomes a chore to read about.

in every single arc, the MC doesn't care about anything but his lover. He never has a career, he never works hard for anything. He is just there, being spoiled by the ml, who falls in love with MC at first sight.

the MC eats and sleeps for all 154 chapters I have read so far. I kept going, because obviously it HAD to get better, right? But it doesn't!

what makes me angry is that it COULD be good, if only the protagonist cared. But he does not. He doesn't care about anything at all, so the plot, the worlds, all other characters fall flat.

arcs:

first arc: modern world (sickly young master MC x domineering family patriarch ml) — age gap, MC was a minor when they met. ML fell in love at first sight. They are uncle and nephew, not related as ML is adopted.

second arc: abo intellestelar (spoiled young noble omega MC x tyrant emperor alpha ml).

third arc: ancient world (beautiful young marquis MC x big, rough mean-faced emperor's general brother ml).

fourth arc: modern world with metaphysics (poor college student MC x director of the ghost prison division of the underworld ml).

fifth arc: fantasy world (human holy saint MC x leader of paladins blood elf ml).

sixth arc: modern world, entertainment industry (kept 18th-line actor MC x rich powerful ceo ml).

seventh world: cultivation world (fox demon shizun MC x demon cultivator disciple ml) — both of them are hiding their identities, as they live in an orthodox sect.

eighth world: back to reality, intellestelar world (general MC x

system ml)

age gap in almost every arc, ML being older. ML is the cold, jealous type, but he is also really insecure, so that's new? MC is lazy, only likes to eat. A lot of dubious consent, too, since ML is "so in love" with MC that he literally can't stop himself and has to have him, has to make MC his.

all arcs are long and boring. Too long but nothing substantial really happens. I'm dropping this.

not recommended at all!

Was a great book to start reading but it’s not finished. The Author is too slow at getting it finished. Not happy paying when there’s no idea when a new chapter will be up. No idea when it will be finished.

it is an affront for this book to have that title. the guy is a psychopath, an evil creature, tortures, kidnaps, rapes the girl, and the author calls it love? how many chapters are left to finish this saga of mental illness? for the love of god that this character has dignity and doesn't stay with t
