Ok... I absolutely love the ABO/Omegaverse genre so I was looking forward to reading this but after reaching this point I think I’m done with the story. So far from what I have read I can tell that the writer is trying to do to much and hasn’t made the relationship between the main couple very clear. In the first few chapters the author excitedly introduces the MC’s “gong” but up until this point there’s no indication that any romantic relationship is even possible between the two while on the other hand the side couples progress is to fast. It’s obvious that the story is trying to focus on gender empowerment and with the direction the writer has taken things, at this point, it wouldn’t make sense to pair the MC off with anyone at all. With this plot there can be no happy ending for the main couple. One of them has to sacrifice to make the other person happy.Lastly.... Sorry if what I’m about to say is a spoiler but one of the things that finally made me lose hope for anything to make sense in this story has to be when the MC’s father (Marshal) questions the prince about wether or not his son (MC) consented to being marked. Did he (Marshall) forget that he permanently marked his sons father and imp**gnated him when he (Lin yu) clearly isolated himself to avoid getting marked? I get that he wants to play daddy now but he doesn’t have the right act the way he’s acting towards the prince. The prince only temporarily marked him and didn’t mate with him. He clearly protected him the best way he could. Also he (marshal) says that it’s just the prince’s “wishful thinking” that his son likes him but is he forgetting that it was just his own “wishful thinking” that his sons father felt the same way about him.... ok I’m done lol
