According to the plot, during the following month after the 1st mission, as MC and ML were solving the problems that arose from the CP's scheme, MC, unknowingly pleased ML with heart-fluttering words.
And around the time Yuder (MC) has his secondary gender and first heat (approximately 2-3 months after he becomes a member of the Calvery), it's clear that ML has began to have special feelings for MC. He got terribly worried and immediately looked for MC when he heard Yuder had faced some problems from Kiolle (the idiot imperial knight).
[collapse]If we think of other novels where the romance may need to develop for more than one or two years for the main characters to finally notice their feeling and confess their love to each other, this amount of time is undoubtedly not long.
