This was surprisingly good. I just thought I'd skim it because I had nothing else to read and ended up getting a bit hooked. Rated 5 because I'm actually enjoying it so far, time will tell. It's definitely a (melo) drama story though, with more unfolding as time goes on, so YMMV.To start off, MC did not take being thrown into another world well.MC doesn't just wake up in a new body and confidently accomplish a quest checklist as though they're tourists to that world. Their past life has an effect on things -- having your routine suddenly tossed out the window and being shoved into an environment you know is going to go to hell, in an unfamiliar body, seeing and interacting with people you know are supposed to die horribly, all with no background, connections, support net or anyone to share problems with, isn't exactly material for a healthy mindset. MC isn't coping well for some time, and the story does a good job of reflecting this state of mind as things progress.Spoiler
She never set an alarm on the phone.
[collapse]Premise is, after arriving here MC has no idea what to do outside of an admissions ticket. Since the OG plot was a tragedy story, she latches onto a source of survival as her only real stability -- the FL, one of the few characters to stay alive in the original work. The FL character is pretty unlikable on initial contact, but has reasons and a good up and down redemption arc. MC eventually starts to feel like she can do more than just staying alive, start to try and make a difference in the world, but it's an uphill battle to even get there mentally and takes some sacrifice to accomplish.Have to mention the OG plot protagonist... He's been annoying. Up until a point he's mostly made things worse for MC's bid for stability. Doesn't have bad intentions, I guess? He gets involved, does things without asking, and runs on misunderstandings. Also has a crush that mostly started because MC set her clothes on fire in an ability test, and continues because she does and says things without considering implications. So, yeah. He does get better (and less intrusive) as time goes on, at least, though the misunderstandings are ongoing. Here's hoping it's not a romance subplot.-----------------------------Translation quality is good, a few mistakes and gender pronoun flips here and there but nothing too consistent that I remember seeing.
