Hello everyone, I'm not really good at critiquing so I'll just give my bias opinion with this story as an average reader.I really like it, it's the exact definition of a "page-turner", I even supported the translator (thank you) on patreon to read ahead. That's how addictive it is to me.I enjoy the fact that the MC isn't OP, she (he?) actually struggles and tries to overcome difficult situations. The consequences she has to go through feels very real, this world that the author set up is unforgiving. Characters will get hurt, and suffer, even the MC.The drama between characters also feel very entertaining to read, although, despite what others might say, I enjoy the misunderstandings, although a bit repetitive. If you hate misunderstandings because of characters lack of communication, you might hate this, but to me, that's what makes this novel funny sometimes. Despite that, the author does a good job of painting our protag being pitiful, annoyingly sometimes, but it does make me root for her.This is a very unique academy-hero-life novel to me, it has a grimdark setting, gender bend female protag with peculiar circumstances, drama, and a potential romance (?). Overall, I like it too much.
