Been reading on this site for many years by now, but this is the first time I’ve felt compelled enough by a story to write a review.

This story really is the best example of expectation subversion, it builds up a narrative from the start full of your typical tropes, but fairly quickly you realise things aren’t as they were once portrayed.

MC is an unreliable narrator with a very interesting and complex character, there are only a handful of side characters that the novel expands on but they’re also fleshed out and well written.

One thing I personally really like is that like other similar novels there are misunderstandings, however, it doesn’t hinder the plot, it always only serves as comedic relief or to advance relationships. I also really appreciate the rapid and quality TL.

Only small gripe I have is that the author tries to make the MC seem as pitiful as possible to the other character in the novel even in her smallest actions, I wouldn’t go as far as to say it’s pity bait but it does seem like it’s just a little bit overdone.

it was kind of slow and whiney in the  beginning, ok first couple of sentences but after that it was freaking awesome!

i hate the main female characters for crying out after she decided to left the husband on her own and refused to immediately inform him that she is pregnant which is she obviously got so much time to do so...what is that nonsense seriously its getting on my nerves reading about her attitude there...
