I went into this story because it promised a tragedy and I am currently into those kinds of romance stories.Spoiler
And according to the other reviewer, this story has a HE which is fine ig but I was kind of hoping for a BE or bittersweet ending
[collapse]regardless of the ending, the first 20 chapters or so was MC getting used to the fact that he’s stranded without help and forced to get along with ML who MC is terrified of in the beginning. As it progresses, I eventually got really annoyed by ML’s personality and his treatment of MC when he (ML) gets mad. No he’s not physically abusive or anything like that but after reading about it so many times, it gets annoying.Review of ML as a character:At first, I found the guy rather funny because of how obsessed he was with staring at himself in the mirror and constantly praising himself, but like MC had said once in the story, he’s really just Spoilernarcissistic.
[collapse] and it really shows after you read a little more. It no longer becomes a joke and you can find ML misunderstanding MC and being blind because of it, making MC feel like he has to constantly walk on eggshells because of his personality.ML might of not forced MC (and it says it multiple times in the story as if the author was trying to convince the audience of this) but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t force himself on MC in different ways Spoilerex. Kissing, hugging, etc.
[collapse]Review of MC:He’s basically any other person, just wanting to leave and return to his family and doing his best to survive. SpoilerThere are many lines within the story and after MC got together with ML that MC really liked ML or not. I feel like he’s mostly just giving the snake his body because he wants to survive and that’s the only way.
[collapse]Overall, good writing (with minor mistakes) that keeps me wanting to read more but there is literally no plot whatsoever. The sudden appearance of ML’s brother and stuff unfortunately isn’t going to make me stay to read more so I’m going to drop this.
