Meh. It was super repetitive. Basically, all the angst has already happened. The reader is told about all the past trauma as the face slapping happens. The setting is a dating variety show - the author goes through it in great detail, and then revisits each detail again a few chapters later with barrage comments. Unfortunately, they aren't completely skippable, as they contain some relevant details.Felt like fluff on top of very forced past angst and subsequent face slapping.Spoiler
I had to skim the first kiss scene because literally half the chapter was an extended detailed description of the tension in the atmosphere. It's too much and took away from the story.
