This novel has potential but it sucks since it only has 52 chapters. A woman who has an incurable illness wants to die but magically saves herself because of the leftover of the Supreme Venerable Sovereign. I liked the plot in which she became a member of a magic troupe. It's a unique plot of her being a host for a Magic Troupe, especially in the entertainment industry. However, after that, my interest in this novel was lowered. It wasn't interesting anymore when the plot started to deviate and she went into a variety show.It could have delved more into some plot points. I guess the author wanted to add more stuff to make it more engaging but it became boring. They didn't execute it quite well. I thought it would be a good story, too bad it wasn't what I expected. I wish they focused on her being a host and slowly discovering the world of cultivation. Now, it turns into your regular entertainment novel.They didn't show her getting together with Lu Lanxiao. I think it is only implied. I am not sure since the last scene of them is being on vacation together. Spoiler
He is eight years younger than her. The male lead is a 19-year-old sophomore student. I wish they could have made him in his early twenties like 21 or 23.
