This novel is like eating dry pancake with no syrup; you can eat a couple but after a while you'll have to force yourself.Each chapter is mostly narrated, the MC talks to himself out loud to explain things and conversations are overly formal or there to drive the plot forward. The novel reads like a bucket list. There are no human emotions besides the enemies being angry or people being scared, especially so for the MC.The concept is also flawed from the very beginning. If there are no cheats or a system and his starting area is a desert devoid of resources the only way to make an entire sect powerful is through plot armor and luck. His enemies weaken themselves for no reason and he finds resources at his doorstep. I'm not very keen on this type of novel.I give 1 star to the translator for his fast releases
