Absolutely amazing.
- Excellent world-building. You really get the sense of what kind of era they were in and the atmosphere at that time. The politics, the military, the corporations. It's intricate but not too overwhelming.
- Great use of mystery with various plot-twists and excellent foreshadowing. Everything is revealed in due time and you're not left hanging with plot holes. This is quite literally one of the few BL mysteries I've read where all the pieces fit together despite having so many elements at play. (When you get to the end, you go back to the beginning iykwim)
- Characters are not one-dimensional at all, especially the main couple who continued to grow throughout the story. They're dang lovable too. You can't help but wish the best for them.
- Pacing and writing is just right. I appreciate how the author tends to switch from the fast-pacing chases during the action scenes to the slow-burn until the main couple's feelings reach each other. It didn't feel all that strange and were like nice breathing rooms.
- Spoiler
The POV of the previous Woojin had me crying so much it was embarrassing.
