This is really my guilty pleasure story. I love everything about it: that it is a casual read with not too many difficult political scheming, a very coquettish and bimbo MC who tries his best but ultimately isn't smart enough to scheme (he's described as a lamb in the middle of a pack of wolves lol), a super doting ML who is cold to everyone else but the MC, and the hot almost smutty suggestive moments in the novel.Oh gosh darn the almost smut is so hot and I wished there were more. HAHA.I don't think the MC is too s*upid tbh, as if I had to transmigrate to a novel I can 100% confirm I will remember nothing about it just like the MC. MC has social anxiety and he loves reading novels for fun in modern times and he doesn't think too hard about things. He's just an adorable little cinnamon roll and I love that he doesn't have a hard time because of ML's pampering and love.ML's only light in his life in the MC and I think that's fair. ML has to deal with so many people scheming around him, trying to kill him. He's really smart and can handle all of this. MC being a little airheaded and innocent seems like the right fit for the ML as he doesn't have to think so much about MC scheming since he knows MC won't. I feel like that kinda chemistry is so fun. ML can relax around MC and they can just love each other.It's a very easy story to read. And very hot at times. I am refraining from MTL since the translations by CG is SO GOOD. So very good. Thank you! I will be rereading this when translations are completed.
