it's modern day supernatural story, and I was hoping that it wasn't, but that's on me. You should not judge a book by itss cover. There are two op MCs so the minor villains just seem troll with how easy they are to defeat. The ML is nice to the MC, the original MC is nice to the current MC. There is absolutely no real conflict up to chapter 17 other than the MC trying really hard not to uncover his secrets. There's some mystery here probably because unless every building has 30+ people dieing from it every year there has to be a population problem if no one is purposefully targetting the MC. From here, it looks like plot holes. I'm not in the mood for a slice of life supernatural story ever tho.
