I like the story in general, but I've read ahead and a harem seems to be developing (like almost all of the important female characters have kissed him by chapter 500 and it's not all initiated by the females). I really don't like harem novels and I feel like the harem element is just being used to explain why all the females trust and give him so much support in this novel (The later female characters seem to insta fall in love with MC). In addition, having multiple partners (I think in a more cheating sense rather than polygamy) seems to be a sin in that world but the MC never explicitly tells any of the girls that he's having an ambiguous relationship with the other girls. They seem to figure that out by themselves and are fine with it even though one is a princess, one is a powerful soothsayer, one is a famous author, and one is a powerful ring warlock (who states that she sees him as her possession and is also the AUNT of the princess). BTW the aforementioned are only the ones who've kissed the MC by chapter 500, there are other female characters who seem interested in the MC but haven't kissed him yet. Plus, even after it seems to be revealed that his true desire is his other me he still maintains the ambiguous relationships (he hasn't confirmed any type of relationship with any of the girls). Lastly, the MC seems to find cross-dressing (man crossdressing as a woman) disgusting and is still disgusted by the cross-dressing character even after being told that it's the current fashion trend for playwrights, which is :/ to say the least So, I'm dropping it until the translator gets to the chapter I read ahead to and I'll recheck to see if a harem tag is added and if it's not I might reread and see how the author is going to U-turn.
