dropped... I liked the beginning, but I feel like the quality dwindled in later arcs π in the end, it's still a fulfillment fantasyi love love LOVE how the author portrays hurt/trauma and healing between family, but the villains feel so... 2d βΉοΈ where's their competence? the author instills the most blatant plot devices to force the villains to be s*upid. it's really disappointing; author pulls a classic "bad is good/good is bad" switch trope, and though they try to subvert it by admitting MC was a terrible person before, this fact fails to impact the plot in any way besides making MC more pitiable to the readers.and it's so disappointing because MC is incredibly 3d. she's been hurt, she doesn't want to forgive, but in her heart she finds herself wishing for human connection... Ough.......4/5 cuz I really really really loved the beginning arcs. Like I really loved them. I implore u to read this and ignore everything I said because that was so good
