I can see the potential with this story. The FL is sensible and I like how she eases her way into a proper relationship with the son, but I personally feel like the story goes a little too slow for my liking. While the ML isn’t the worst ML I’ve seen in these type of stories, he’s still not very likable and they basically just hate each other the entire time which would be fine if the story didn’t drag on so much. Like i’m reading each chapter hoping it’ll be the one where she leaves! Skimming the story a bit further, it looks like by chapter 39 she’s still living with him so I think I’ll drop this story and come back when there’s more chapters.
