Story starts out interesting but starts becoming bland and actually a bit grating to read later on. With the main chracater starting out reincarnated into the body of a child who died but he still retains his memories, transforms that premise into bland school arc, the MC has a trend of being shunned by society for being a commoner, proceeds to being shunned for being a human and then for being an "outsider", it never seems to end, he of course is massive overpowered having memories of being a master kendo practicioner or somenthing from his past life, has all the girls loving him, has a dark past on where his Spoiler
Mother was r*ped repeatedly in front of him and then mu*dered by a guy who, I'm not joking "Keeps him alive because killing those who come for revange is the best~!
[collapse], and in the middle of all these events, the author tries to make a social commentary on the nature of humanity and its ability to do great things and how we must not fall to the dark animalistic instincts we all have, which comes out as condencending, bland, you'll feel like a grade schooler being taught about philosophy. It tries to teach us about some sort of good and evil struggle inside all of us and falls flat, because no character in this polarised world feels human, they're either cartoonishly good or evil with no one in between, no one has any depth here, the main character is a saint and the one time I saw him with mu*derous intent affter a rapist goes affter a girl close to him whom he of course, saves before anything horrible could be done and right affter he chastises himself for sucumbing to the dark side, right affter the girl distances from him due to fear from his "other persona", they later make up but the execution of this scene, which portrays his anger, bloodlust and any dark emotions makes him distance from her. So all emotions that ALSO make us human in this novel, are also shunned... I wanted to like this novel, I blazed through the first 30 chapters of the novel, ignoring all of its faults because it has an interesting world and premise that I wanted to like, but everything that isnt those two things falls completely, it starts out well but it becomes bland, boring and predictable with the author touring the MC around the world so he gets stronger to later come back and have his revange (Which the main character from what i've noticed adamantly shouts "Revange brings nothing! and its an empty goal!" and later on chapter 44 decides to kill him anyways because reasons?, no hard feelings its just somenthing he "ought to do".Summary:If you want to watch this novel, do it while not having high expectations, it rellies on your spirit of adventure to make you keep on reading and does not deliver on it to any significant degree, with the main character meeting every single fantasy race like elves and dwerves and other 3 at the same time and proceeds to japan fantasy nation, I do not know what the strong point of this novel is, its not the message that misses the point, its not the characters, and its not the world, there is nothing new or interesting for you here that you havent seen before.
