I will certainly use that map of Cairo if I ever visit Egypt. I wonder how many JoJo fanatics have tried to "find" Dio's manor as well.

RIP doggies.

But the part with the beggar association was too weird, I hope that's not real.

My friend brought up the difference in motivation between Joseph and Jotaro and how Dio works perfectly to weave between that and I wanted to bring it up before they come face to face with Dio because it’s increased my anticipation tenfold.  To Joseph, Dio is a figure that loomed over his bloodline.  A man who killed his grandfather and killed his father through proxy from a zombie he created.  Further, Erina told him tales of Dio who she saw murder Jonathan and in part also grew up with alongside Jonathan.  Joseph doesn’t have personal ties to Dio but what he does have is many deep and familiar ties to him.  Jotaro on the other hand knows that Dio has messed with his friends like Kakyoin and Polnareff, has a mean sense of justice so he will overtly already find Dio detestable, but also, Dio is killing his mother by proxy of the stand that awakened.  The difference in Dio to both of these characters is perfectly seen in their motivations.  Joseph and Abdul were hunting Dio before Holly was even targeted, Jotaro only started to hunt him down due to his mother's sickness.  Dio is mythos to Joseph and a pressing, coincidental threat to Jotaro.  They both have vastly different relations to the major villain, unlike Jonathan who had deeply personal connections, which makes for the mysterious, shaded-out Dio to be a perfect encapsulation of his relationship with them.  A glooming, evil presence, even if to us, he feels like an evolution of the sad little boy, lashing out, that we once knew.

To get into this chapter, we learned more about Cairo from Abdul and his reputation preceded him!  It made me appreciate Abdul all the more to see how people are familiar with him and how he’s familiar with them.  A wonderful asset for this journey, no doubt.  And from there, this hinted to us that this would become an Iggy-centric arc!  I mean Iggy even thought!  It’s found another animal stand user, Petshop, with the stand Horus!  I would not have expected an animal on animal stand battle, but it’s cool!  Dio has a bird of prey which watches the mansion and defends him!  It parallels Iggy being on guard dog duty for the heroes!  I definitely look forward to seeing where this goes, even if more dogs dying made me roll my eyes a little.  Animals are fodder to show how evil or crazy someone is or lack thereof and they are also there to show off the power of enemies.  It’s been that way since Jack the Ripper and Dio, it’s just always been that way.  It was cool when Cars didn’t kill the dog but it’s gotten a little old for me at this point.

                        >How can I not save a kid who likes dogs?

Good question but the answer should be obvious.

Petshop only attacks those who enters the perimeter of DIO's mansion like it was told to do. That drunk driver should've been the one to go instead of the beggar guy though if someone had to lose their life.

Iggy wanted nothing to do with this but he couldn't just abandon someone who likes dogs to die.
