The boys are coming ridiculously close to Dio’s mansion and Hol Horse was doubting the absurd prediction fate had in store. The first thing, to stick his fingers up Polnareff’s nose! What I find interesting about Boingo is that his stand is thematically core to the series. Jojo has always had a thing for fate, and the stand even reminds me of Zeppeli’s prophecy to die in Phantom Blood. It’s kind of horrifying, while being useful, if it says something they don’t want to read, fate seems to bring it into being. At least there are loopholes, like how if Oingo swapped his face, he would have truly been saved and Jotaro would have been split. It’s definitely curious though.
As for Polnareff, like in Alessi, this idiot has a good sense for danger, at times at least. He can catch onto people before the others and confront them like a badass! And he went so far to assume that Hol Horse would never work alone which was super correct. I love this side of Polnareff. But having his nose picked means that this should go how the book states.
