I was thinking about how this fight would go.  Firstly, a sword which can be seen by everyone is a great secret stand, you would look like a normal swordsman.  It’s hiding in plain sight so I suspected it may be used as a sneak attack.  Then I wondered who would be fighting it and what’s better to deflect a sword than another sword.  Polnareff had to be the one.  How the events turned out however, were far better than I could have expected.

Polnareff, while being a pretty dumb guy at times, knows honour when he sees it.  He guided Chaka to a place where the two could fight, a maze of columns away from innocents, and respected the guts Chaka had.  It was a classically badass scene of two men who didn’t need to speak any words.  But then, it got better, Chaka declared 'the Polnareff' with a cool line about killing him!  It was then that Polnareff really fell in love, the first real man of an enemy!  Then, without even realizing the crucial danger of being surrounded by columns myself, Chaka sliced through one and showed more of that cool power.  Only cutting Polnareff, not even his shirt.  I think I just have a thing for simplistically effective fantasy swords, be it the metaphorical excalibur from Saint Seiya or this.  However, using a sneak attack, a hidden strength he saves for crucial moments, he launched his rapier as a projectile and took out Chaka.

Chaka going down only proved how powerful this stand is.  If it is someone who manipulates others into using their stand for them then that is genius.  No matter how many times they go down, they will keep targeting new and greedy people who pick up the blade.  And even if this is an exception and Anubis happens to be something other than an individual's projected life energy, it can still learn each time.  For a moment, I thought that Polnareff’s projectile was now known which meant that during the next fight it would have the upper hand..  But it was then that Polnareff was given the right to unsheath the blade.  Everything I could have hoped from this arc has already occurred and it’s gone further than expected.  Is Polnareff, the already great swordsman, going to be teaming up under Anubis’ manipulation?!  The bros are going to fight?!  O.O

Chaka ambushed Polnareff and acted pretty much like a noob player who got their hands on a level 60 weapon. He was having some difficulty fighting Anubis but he used an ability no one knew about to turn the tide. Chaka might've been defeated but it looks that Polnareff himself took a look at the cursed blade...
