I had just posited that water may be able to beat the Fool by clumping it together so it can’t break apart. But I realized that wouldn’t work unless it was stand-made water. However, it seems that has come to fruition already. It appears this enemy's stand is one that utilizes water as a weapon and I like it! Any time we get to see the villain and their abilities before they face the heroes, just as we did with Hol Horse and J.Geil, means I’m excited!
In this case, the user seems to be very pretty and blind, using a walking stick however having great senses, possibly a parallel to Iggy's senses. In fact, his are almost good enough to catch the kind of fly that led the squad here, and actually good enough to snipe it with a rock. Immediately, this made me curious. Animals and babies with stands aren’t that interesting to me on a conceptual level. However, I am interested in if this stand user, assuming it is him attacking, is able to see through his stand! Further, he spoke about Iggy sensing the great N'Doul's presence in the last chapter and it makes me wonder if it had already taken the form of water near them. It was able to drown men flying in a desert and here attacked through Joseph's water after all.
That does bring up the stand issue. As mentioned in the chapter and by someone in the last thread, the only tarot card should be Dio’s at this point. Yet, this attacker doesn’t seem to be Dio and does seem to be using a stand. Further, it was mentioned there were 9 people gathered together where Dio should be which gives us a number along with the time limit we received. 2 weeks and nine foes, presumably, the final nine foes are Dio’s best if it’s going to follow a typical shounen structure. But the question of what their stands are is more curious than ever.
Outside of that, I liked seeing Jotaro and Joseph’s reaction to Holly’s situation. It was sad but sweet.
