DELICIOUS SLOW BURNNNNN. If you've read Odalisque and, like me, you were driven to the edge of your seat because of the *tension* then you'll love Selena and Kalcion (tho this is the R15 comedy version) ahahaha.Selena, the FL, is tough, takes no bullshit, smart, and just overall so lovable. The basis premise of the story is actually cliche: a contractual relationship. But the SPICES added to that premise, FL being good at acting, ML being the typical aloof strongest male in the universe, their interaction are so so so so fun to read! The worldbuilding is sufficient, the conflict was not too complex but still keep the reader engaged. Overall, I would totally recommend this for a light read and a few giggles.The one that made this review happen, of course, is none other than the neat translation work. Kudos to the team!! Their website is also really clean T_T Thank you!I'm nearing the end of the novel now, and the translation is almost finished too so I'll update the review later :))
