This got me sitting standing crouching and rolling.Usually short stories like these with simple plot lines are hard to get addicted to but teacher Shiju’s writing has drastically improved. Such beautiful mature interactions, the way they gauge at how one feels, the way their characteristics perfect match their upbringing!? Learning about each other, accommodation? The perfect example of friendship to love. It’s so romantic I swear.Characters: Lu Yunchu: He’s a young master, and personally from the glimpse I got of him in Teacher shiju’s previous book, I didn’t like him that much, but oh lord I fell hard. He’s just so lovely. I absolutely love how he deals with relationships and moreover learnt to rely on others and break out of his shell, it’s so beautiful how the side characters all played important roles for this which is what really matters.Zhou Yanchuan: He’s a sweetheart, a little aesthetically dull but a sweetheart. A typical sensor with an intuitive, they’ll head but a few times but they’ll make up after, and what remains is the fact that the core within wouldn’t change but the other shell can slowly rebuild itself. I love how as a straight man he learnt, tried to accept, understand and digest. It wasn’t something instant but a slow gradual acceptance (Doesn’t take too long don’t worry hahaha) Plot:They had some cute misunderstandings hahahha, I absolutely adore how open they were, the plot also never felt stagnant or still, it was very animated, I could feel the happenings and the bustling streets, the writing was very exceptional. It’s a top tier slice of life romance from me.Personal: 4/5 Overall: 5/5
