I read the official translation in Kindle. Volume 4 is only available in paperback only so I am planning to get it as well.

This novel is about a modern japanese man reincarnated as the youngest son of an elementalist Marquis war hero but when he turned 8, he presented with production skill instead of elemental magic, a prerequisite of the nobles to remain in power. He was banished to a small poor village after his oldest brother attempted to save him from his father’s disappointment.

As he has a mana pool much bigger than anyone, the limitation of production magic was removed and he can basically make anything he desires as long as he has the raw materials for them.

I do believe that the author should have given him “fortitude” magic as all his equipment and invention were stronger and sturdier than their original counterparts. Because it will read as a little thought was put on the entire plot.

This is a typical kingdom building story where people of different walks of life recognized the protagonist’s skill and appreciated his warm heart.

He developed a village, a town, then a city based on his earth and Japan memories. His talent mostly shine with war related machine such as old school power bows and ballistae. But what made this novel interesting is that, though he kept on perfecting offensive machinery, he made his people’s place a comfortable living space.

He made them homes, stores, storages

He made bath houses

He made furniture

For the context of magical word, dungeons, and adventuring system, he made them weapons and defense equipment

The characters that opted to stay in his home fortress had actual reasons why they would register themselves as citizens

Only unnecessary thing here were how people give away their daughters for them to marry him. Thankfully no more than 1 chapter is allocated for a maiden-focus chapter. Like, he is just 8.. the romance tag popped for few seconds every now and then but I can read through them as they appear as just small popped ups.

...

Overall, if you want a quick read of isekai + kingdom building + production magic + incorporating modern technology plots this will be a great read.

Why so long?? The book is a good read, but it’s dragging on so much you lose interest!

Love love love this book..  Each one of the series is great but this one so far is my favorite.  Brock and Astrid are perfect for each other and come into each other’s lives when needed..  The conflict in this book is so much more intense and the battle in this one is gut wrenching…
