Cutting through Joseph to reach Lovers is definitely unique.  I’ve not seen anything like this in a battle shounen before, maybe The Magic School Bus, but not shounen.  It made for some fun antics, the people nearby thinking that Joseph is senile and all.  But Lover’s is a threat, it’s creating brain clones, feeding the spore, and injuring our boys.  If Polnareff and Kakyoin can’t stop it, then Joseph will die and Jotaro will continue to humiliate himself.

Speaking of that though, Jotaro is taking notes of everything Steely Dan has done to him so that he can pay him back.  As much as he could hardly be stopped from beating him earlier as he attached to Joseph, he knows how this works!  Meaningless pride paving the way to defeat isn’t the way, swallow that pride, take your punishment, and make sure to get payback later when you can manage victory.  That’s how you do it, and Jotaro knows this, his unflinching confidence intimidated the man who is in an otherwise dominating situation.  He's definitely a manly kid.

There was also a line about how shrinking stands costs much energy to do which goes to say, shrinking or growing probably won’t come up all that often.

Not gonna lie, Jotaro hasn't been my favorite Jojo for most of this part. He comes off as the cool tough guy who can get himself out of situations. But seeing him not have the power to beat the bad guy and go through the humiliation of being a servant made me feel sympathy for him. I personally can't wait for Steely Dan to get his punishment.

Joutarou's to do list is funny, Dan should run the hell away.

Wow, Lovers tricked them, his abilities aren't half bad for that size.

Lol at Jotaro's record book. You know that ass-whooping is on its way.

Steely Dan can actually see through Lovers' eyes and sensed Hierophant Green and Silver Chariot entering Joseph's body. Despite what Dan claimed, his Stand's actually pretty formidable when fighting someone of its own size. Making dummies out of brain cells and digging out clumps of brain matter to feed the growing flesh spore made my own brain cells commit suicide out of wincing in pain.

Steely Dan's continuing his antics but Jotaro's writing down every single transgression he'd done to him. Little did he know that he's preparing for the payback that will soon be given to him.
